ABOUT SKIPPER FURNITURE

Skipper Furniture produces furniture, such as sofas, armchairs, daybeds, chairs and tables for both home and public environments. For public environments, we produce for public areas, such as schools, healthcare, retirement homes, hotels and conference environments.

SVEND SKIPPER

Skipper Furniture was founded in 1955 in Denmark by Svend Skipper and was later sold to the current owner Tommy Nyberg. Today, production takes place in Sweden with the same demands on quality, environment, flexibility and combination of Scandinavian design and comfort. Our customers are located all over the world, including the USA, Germany, France, Japan, Scandinavia and more. In these countries we work towards two markets, furniture for the home and furniture for the public environment. For public environments, we produce sofas, armchairs, daybeds, chairs and tables for contract environments such as schools, healthcare, retirement homes, hotels and conferences. We also have strong expertise in the delivery of auditorium solutions for both large and small companies or institutions.

PRODUCTION

Skipper Furniture focuses on close collaboration between product development and production. With full control of the entire manufacturing chain - from the prototype workshop that transforms the designer's idea and design sketch into a producible product, to every stage of production - we can take on even advanced challenges.
This collaboration between product development and production also means that we have great opportunities to be responsive and customize our products for specific environments and needs.
